Contrary to popular belief, practicing yoga is not about bending like a pretzel. It's not even really about exercise. Yoga literally means "union". When someone experiences higher states of awareness beyond the physical (body, thoughts, and emotions). they are said to be in "yoga".  As a practice, yoga is a scientific method that allows the seeker to bring the body, mind, and life energy into proper alignment and balance.
Colin is a yoga acharya (master yoga instructor). He is formally trained in the Sivananda tradition; a classical style which emphasizes the "synthesis of yoga" - addressing yoga in all its forms.
